″ I didn’t want to be buying plastic straws all the time for cost and environmental reasons, although the initial outlay is quite steep I am glad I went for it. The straws are really nice, easy to clean and especially good for smoothies as they are wide enough and get cool as you drink. I use them everyday. The cleaning attachment/brush came free with them and is holding up very well. ″

″ These are great and the handy little brush helps remove thicker drinks such as smoothies. Friends have been wowed (did tell them they need to get out more) so if you like feeling smug this does the job as well. I haven’t tried it with hot drinks because as my six year old says metal conducts hear. Duh. ″

″ I used to have a box of standard plastic bendy straws. I used them for drinking soft drinks and smoothies plus cocktails! I realised that they do these stainless steel straws so thought I would give them a try rather than constantly buy new plastic straws.
1. They come already at a drinking angle which seems perfect compared to a plastic straw. I don’t use it and think ‘ I wish I could adjust this’.
2. The box is cool, so great for gifting.
3. The straws come with a little pipe cleaner – not all of them do!
4. I have used this for smoothies. Obviously they are still straws – if you end up with chunks of fruit in your smoothie you won’t get them.
5. These straws don’t smell funny like some cutlery does!
